About Us

	The LifeVision Foundation is a non profit, charitable foundation established to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights in order to "promote the relief of sickness, poverty, need, hardship, distress and the education of all people in physical, mental and spiritual health".

Some of the rights proclaimed in the Declaration by the United Nations were:

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.
Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.
No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel degrading treatment.

Everyone has the right to education directed to the full development of the human personality to promote understanding, tolerance and friendship among all nations.

Everyone has the right to food, clothing, housing and medical care.

Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.

World governments promised they would protect and promote these rights.

Have they?

The year following the Declaration, China invaded Tibet and so began over a half century of human rights abuses on the Tibetan people. Just over 1.2 million people - 20% of its population - were slaughtered with many thousands more injured, maimed and violated.
