| Tenzin
is a young girl who suffered from tuberculosis and meningitis early in her childhood. She
is now classified as handicapped. Tenzin lives with her mother and father in India as a
refugee from the oppression of her homeland. Due to her ill health she could not study
with other children in the refugee school. Her mother and father have tried many ways to
help her. Finally her mother wrote to her Member of Parliament in the Tibetan Government
in Exile who passed her file to LifeVision. Your support is helping Tenzin enjoy a happy life in the newly opened
Tibetan Handicapped Childrens Home supported by The LifeVision Foundation.
The Tibetan name for the home is
"Nyingtob Ling". It means Realm of Courage and was chosen by His Holiness the
Dalai Lama. |
