Claire (nee Slade) and Jim Love lived in Downton, and both went to the same school, and through there teenage years got to know each other.
They were married on a tropical Isle on 20th January 1993, they had not told there parents they were getting married, only a couple of friends. When they got back they told their parents and had a big party to celebrate.
Jim works at Trafalgar Fisheries, he is in charge, it is owned by Lord Radnor. Claire worked for HPI Equifax and left in 1998 to have a baby.
