Welcome to The Shape Of The Century: the Salisbury Festivals guide to sculpture in Britain over the course of this century. Sculptors are preoccupied with a struggle about the shape of the things, and the things they create are among the images of our age. The Shape Of The Century takes over 80 sculptures by almost 60 artists, and places them not in a gallery, but against the wider canvas that is the city of Salisbury. You'll find sculptures throughout the city, in the Cathedral, Close and shopping centre, in parks, gardens and outside offices; everywhere, in fact, that people go about their daily business.
