Phase Three – A New Community!

Thousands of refugee and orphan children from Tibet live in Northern India. Their numbers increase daily. While some support has already been provided, there is much work still to be done. The Foundation’s medium-term goal is to establish a self-sufficient community of one thousand incorporating an orphanage/school, further education college, employment opportunity workshops, computer literacy sections and family home units in a sheltered village community. Rather than isolate the children from their peers, we will encourage their education within the Tibetan culture while also providing them with the education necessary to equip them with the skills needed to succeed as citizens of the modern world.

Costs

Provision of land and building of community infrastructure - £500,000.

Grand Total Phase Three : £500,000. $800,000.
